The CTRL "feature" is mentioned in the manual.
All generic machines are boosted with 2 drives. To "activate" only 1 drive, you need to use the Machine Editor and change "2 drives" into "1 drive".
Explanations here :

Another option is to use a specific (non boosted) machine with 1 drive, but in this case, you need to download the corresponding roms on our Resource page.

Post subject: Hold "CTRL" to run games
I have noticed that some MSX disk games need "CTRL" key to be held down for the game to run.
Games such as:
007 - A View To A Kill
Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes
Buster Block
Colt 36
Feud
Gauntlet
..etc
I found out that holding "CTRL" is to free up memory, by disabling drive B.
Is there a option or command line argument to automatically do this?
