Working on making a USB adaptor for Coleco controllers (http://vision-daptor.com/). I would like to have it work with 2.8.3 beta. What input is blueMSX expecting for SA controller emulation? For example, is it looking for the spinner to be a couple of buttons, or as an axis.

Thanks,
Tom

You can take a look here at the source code :

SuperAction Controller :

http://bluemsx.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/bluemsx/trunk/blueMSX/Src/Input/ColecoSuperAction.c?revision=1216&content-type=text%2Fplain

Steering Wheel :

http://bluemsx.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/bluemsx/trunk/blueMSX/Src/Input/ColecoSteeringWheel.c?revision=1216&content-type=text%2Fplain

In the bluemsx.ini file, you will also find a "secret feature" (not fully implemented) :
joystick.POV0isAxes=no

By default, it is not used. But if you have some problems, you can try with yes instead of no.

Great! Where to find source was going to be my next question. Very Happy

Is development being still being done?

At the moment, blueMSX development is in sleeping mode, as Daniel Vik is too busy with other activities.

From time to time, I add (or improve) some machines and my next goal is the updating of the databases. But for the emulator itself, only bugfixes are planned for a future release (no any date yet decided).

I'm looking at the SA emulation now, and hope to improve it. I'll let you know when I have something improved to use.

If you have any patches you'd like to apply, I'll include them.
