Since blueMSX wants to be the biggest, the fattest and the hottest Cool a network (internet) play feature would really make some difference Wink

Of course you can write this feature yourself, or implement Kaillera Smile

It's time for a MSX emulator with this feature, and I think blueMSX will well fit this role Wink

So.. we could make a Hypersports ladder or something Razz Wink

Very interesting suggestion ! Cool

Of course a must for the gamers .... and there are so many good games on MSX ! Very Happy

I think that it must be added to our To Do list for the future (after the Turbo-R support !)

Is it possible to use HTML on bluemsx? Like is it possible to make a (simple) msx program that lets you do things on internet ?

It's in principe not possible. Html is not a language used by MSX.

What could be developed is the possibility to play the same game in network. It's one of the reasons of the xml format and the sha1 value used in the databases.

Then different options must be compared :

- will the network be two MSX emulated machines ?
For this option, we must first add full modem support (RS232 support), then add the MSX-network support (as it exists in some Russian machines), then extend it to combine it with the use of Internet.

- will the network be two PC's that run blueMSX ?
This option is more based on the PC utilities. Probably here the xml language (which is an advanced step of html) could be used. But we don't have yet thought more deeper about that.

Well yes and no. blueMSX does have support for the Obsonet internet stack and you can run the software that comes with obsonet, such as telnet and it is possible to connect to the internet.
But I don't believe there are any games that ase using this internet stack so its not that useful I guess.
