The scalers are very nice, but combine them with scanlines and even the ugliest game looks great (like blackbeard).

Overall the emulation is solid, good interface, but the SCC sound in Konami games does sound a bit distorted, but I haven't tried changing the buffer length etc so that may be just only for me. Also the FM-Pac emulation is a bit off compared to the implementation in ParaMSX or was it openmsx.

I love MSX and everything about it, and appreciate the team that works behind this good emulator. MSX4Ever.

You could try to lower the volume of the SCC in options->sound. The SCC implementation in 1.4.1 is totally new so the volume adjustment may be a little bit wrong. I will do some test to make sure there are no distorsions that can't be avoided by lowering the volume.
