Hi,
First of all, great proggie! Smile
version 2.2 runs very nicely.
Downloaded 2.6 and it wont run. Sad
Gives an error at startup.
I tried normal, sse and sse2 versions.
I have a p4 2.8 ht, 1.5g memory (dual channel), winXP sp1, ati 9700aiw

error:
Application Error
The instruction at "0x02f420f0" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".

Hope this helps!

Same kind of error...
I'm using WinXP running on a Intel Celeron 1.3GHz.
Hope this could help, too.

Can you try one of the following procedures for the installation ?

1st option : install the new version in a different directory than the previous version

2d option : - uninstall the previous version
- go to the directory where blueMSX is installed (generally C:\Program Files:\blueMSX) and delete manually all the remaining files and directories (save them eventually elsewhere)
- install the new version

Do you have winpcap installed? or a video grabber (e.g. webcam)?

@mars: before installing the new version, I uninstall the older one. After that, I delete completely the directory blueMSX in Program Files.
I've tried versions full for P3 and simple one.

@dvik: at the moment I don't have the webcam phisically connected, but all wc drivers and softwares are installed.

I also have a beta-unzippable version of blueMSX for testing, and it works good.

Sorry, sorry sorry...
I correct myself: I've installed "blueMSX 2.6 Full" + "All processors" and not working.

@dvik: let me check... it says 2.5 with video capture support, but is a test version, maybe was mars that sent it to me to test nms-8280 digitizing features.

Try to edit the "bluemsx.ini" directly:
set a value of key "ports.Eth.disabled" to 1.
