I have bluemsx 2.8.2 setup with a hard drive that boots into MSXDOS 2 emulating the MSX2 Machine.
It only has 128kb user Ram, and 128kb video ram, I think in theory I need about 512kb user ram in order to run Dos Programs in a normal non MSX machine anyway you need at least that much. I am new to the MSX but I am not interested in just running games from a hard drive I want to be able to use MSXDOS Programs but when I try to run a program it says not enough memory.
I assume I need a MSXDOS Extended or Expanded memory Manger program that is for MSXDOS 2.
Edit I setup Msx2+ which has 512kb memory but still get the same error when running certain programs under MSXDos. |
