blueMSX resource

blueMSX now support external rom / dsk / cas database and a cheat database which will be updated from time to time without waiting for new version of the emulator. The advantage of the external databases is that user are not limited to default data but capable of adding custom roms & new dump. User also have freedom to add/ rename/ delete datas for organizing purpose. The databases are maintained by Benoit Delvaux , so if you have any questions & suggestion, please contact Benoit!

Rom/dsk/cas database	- This database is now available in one archive. Contains MSX / SVI / Coleco / SG-1000 / SC-3000 / SF-7000 database. (possibly the biggest rom database in MSX!)
Cheat database	- The cheat database includes mainly cheats for MSX games at the moment. There are also some cheats for Coleco, SG-1000 and SVI games.

This section contains special versions of the blueMSX emulator.

	Bombaman Extra Ammo Edition Team Bomba and team blueMSX are proud to release a custom version of the blueMSX emulator bundled with the excellent Bombaman Extra ammo edition game.

This section contains Themes that you can use with your blueMSX.

	TypeGT v2.5 Theme by Hiro	Hiro has updated his amazing turbo-R theme to v2.5 and now it includes four (!) different themes with turbo-R design as a motif. It comes with a intuitive interface which uses full capability of theme engine.. A must for MSX fan. (Highly recommended!!!) Works with v2.5 and future version.

	DIGIblue v2 v2.2 Theme by ray0	Our favorite theme DIGIblue v2 is back, an another revival from the past. Actually it was a request from the user who apparently liked this theme. This theme will work with the latest blueMSX theme specification. Also the colours are adapted so it utilize less memory then the previous version. (So it's not just an XML adaptation.)

	blueGEAR v2.2 Theme by ray0	A revival theme back from v1.7. By a request we decided to adapt this to work with our latest theme engine. Works with v2.2 and future version.

	DIGIblue ' v1.7.0 Theme by Hondarer	This is a theme created by Hondarer. He has arranged the classic and DIGIblue themes with original elements. It looks quite nice and it is compatible with v1.7.0 Newly support v2.0 with turbo-R LED!

	Terminal Fallout 3 (Green) v1.0 Theme by Dream	Just a very simple theme with the Green Fallout 3 terminal. Created by the blueMSX fan Dream. It is not MSX hardware, but it has so retro look ! Check the text file for recommended settings to get the most realistic image !

	Terminal ADM-3A (Amber or BW) v1.0 Theme by Dream	Just a very simple theme with the Amber ADM-3A dumb terminal (only for 1920x1080 resolution or higher). Created by the blueMSX fan Dream. It is not MSX hardware, but it has so retro look ! Check the text file for recommended settings to get the most realistic image !

no image	Simple v2.2 Theme by ray0	Just a joke theme, perhaps useful for slower processor since it's only comes with minimun interface.

This section contains MSX machine configurations that works in blueMSX 1.3.0 or higher. Unzip the machine configuration to the Config subdirectory of where blueMSX is installed. It includes also dump tools to be used on real machines.
C-BIOS is an alternative and freeware BIOS for the MSX system. At the moment, it can only run ROM games.

Our friend, user & developer Sam Elsharif has created this nifty launcher called blueMSX Launcher. This is the first dedicated launcher only for blueMSX and it works beautifully. You just need to pre-define a software but once you've have done that, it will be the quickest way to boot up your favorite games and programs. (Setting up the launcher is also very simple & easy!)

Since the beginning of its development, the blueMSX Launcher has seriously evolved into a multilingual utility including many tools such as SHA1 Center, Database Manager, Machine Selection, Import Extra Profile Tool, and more ...
